I’m spending a few weeks in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida…and I’m even doing my very first Florida gig tonite in Jacksonville. I’ll be hanging out with Ray Lewis, who runs the Mudville Music Room at Mudville Grille, as part of his monthly singer-songwriter showcase. Pretty good fun for a Tuesday night at 7:30 pm!
Last week, on the last night of Hanukkah, I did a wonderful live, online-only Concert Window show with percussionist diva Cheryl Prashker. She played with me on a whole slew of new songs that I’ve written over the past year as part of a new project related to my Jewish background, called “A Woman’s Voice.” Here’s a highlight!
It was so fun getting to sing as a backup “Sloan-flake” for the second year at my dear friend Sloan Wainwright‘s annual Holiday show at the beautiful Bedford Presbyterian Church in Westchester, NY . Here, I’m with my fellow talented band-mates Cadence Carroll, Amy Soucy, Amber Lewis and “Sideways-Head” Glen Roethel!
